Cheers Poncho  :tu:

This is one of the things that always confused me on trips to Florida, all of the grass there is so hard and spikey, far different from the normal grass in the UK, not something I would have though would change between the US and here  :dunno:
Soft grass like they have on golf courses needs a lot of water and maintenance in this heat.  The St. Augustine and Bermuda varieties of grasses that are favored in Florida landscaping are heartier, broad leaf grasses that don't need as much water, but I prefer the clover.  Another bonus of letting my landscape go natural is I don't have to mow as often.  :D

Ahh the water explains it, plenty of that here with it raining most days to some extent

Day 28, it's been a blast!

This has probably been the most fun I've had in a challenge yet, the poker aspect with weekly draws has been fantastic. I wish that this owuld be an ongoing thing to drop in and out of but I know that isn't practical, so I'll wait for next year (as I'll be finishing the Batman challenge I wasn't able to last month, I won't be doing the extra days).

The Rebar has been great as usual and the fixie has been far more pleasant to use since I slapped a better edge on it. The biggest con with the fixie now is the sheath, the retention point in the kydex seems to be the heel of the blade instead of the beginning of the handle. This makes it hard to easily draw one handed (safely at least). I think anchoring it to something would make this easier to deal with, the sheath cover I made optional so I'll try neck or belt with it at some point.

I did find myself missing a SAK for the most part, the variety of tools is just convenient, especially since th Rebar's tools are inside access.

Great concept for a challenge and thanks to our fantastic hosts Comis and Nix  :hatsoff:

Day 28

(Image removed from quote.)

Thank you comis and Nix for a fun challenge and for the time you spent on it dealing and sorting us all out, i liked that although we had a choice of which tool to carry the type of tool or tools were decided by the draw of the cards, a nice little touch that brings an extra bit of excitement or dread to it, all in all i found my cards were good so i consider myself lucky, it could have been worse  :D

Excellent pix to wrap the challenge! :like:

Day 28...The End

(Image removed from quote.)

(Image removed from quote.)

It’s my intention not to move from my chair today. Pokey agrees.

Thank you to @comis & @Nix! This has been fun. I hope we consider this challenge for an annual event. I cat ever see it being stale of boring.

I have enjoyed seeing everyone’s changing carry.
Another great pix too! :dd:

Poker Day 28:

  Congratulations to awl who have completed the challenge (and those who will continue for a couple days)!

Hats off to everyone for sticking with the challenge and some of its unconventional rules.   :hatsoff:

I had tons of fun in this challenge and have to extend a huge Thank You to comis for coming up with this crazy idea and bringing it to fruition.  :2tu:

Many thanks also to everyone who participated so enthusiastically and helped to make this challenge so much fun. As usual, it's the MTo community that makes this place and these challenges worthwhile.

I finished the challenge with two tools:

(Image removed from quote.)

Interestingly, even thought I'm starting the FX challenge tomorrow with the same FX, I kept reaching for the FX over the Skeletool. Obviously both tools have different purposes, but the FX was just the one I grabber first, most of the time. Perhaps if I had been more active outdoors I might have had a different experience. Nevertheless, the FX proved itself to be a great carry, and I'm looking forward to the FX challenge now.
Thank you to your help, and really can't pull it off without you! :hatsoff:
Good luck in FX, I will be following!

Day 28

Not the best card, it seems.

Thx comis for this cool challenge!
Thanks, and how on earth did you get is suspended in mid air while grapping onto a SD card?  One of those life mysteries....

:like: Nice wrap, this is a cool blade and it really would be nice to have a good working sheath to host it, so you could push it off with the thumb from top, instead from the bottom.

Day 29:

SAK on a unicorn
I have seen many SAK with XXX post, this gonna be one of the funniest ones.

The Spirit is not food or a toy, therefore, it was unceremoniously pushed off of Elsa's cushion on the comfy chair soon after the picture was taken.  Elsa was not in a mood to be trifled with.
