Since this got bumped some more carry options!

This is a cheap pouch I picked up on Amazon and modded. Removed the key pulls and replaced with some gutted paracord, and unpicked a key loop to free up the space. I carry this most days at various points in my off pocket, with a knife, SAK etc. in my right:

-Olight O'Pen mini
-i2R Pro anniversary edition in titanium with glow tag in the outside slip pocket.

main pocket, this is divided inside by a flap

- A folded up piece of stone paper (waterproof) for any scratch notes

- Mini Bic wrapped in beeswax-hemp wick, paracord guts, and duct tape

- Victorinox minichamp with Leatherman tweezers

- Klecker knife intended for key smart systems

Back pocket is just one big space

- various sized band aids

- a single dose of liquid ibuprofen

- alcohol wipe

- glasses wipe

Very nice.  I've seen that pouch and considered it.  I'm pretty sure I'll stuff it then it'll sit.  I'm pretty sure I look like an over the hill fella ( which is what I am ) so no one will mistake me for an operator or wanna be.

I think tactical pants look great on larger fellas.  Because they are meant to be a little loose IMO they work out looking wonderful.  I find then so darn comfortable too.  They are light so in the summer ( my time now ) they are also fairly cool.  I also really like the belt loop placements.

Cheap enough that I'd say go for it!

My concern with tactical pants is more fitting in them rather than how they look. My body hates me and unlike other people who get big gut first, I got big thighs first, makes it a pain in the smurf to get pants

The pockets are so nice though!

I don't know if you've already tried a pair but if not and you could return easily, I'd say give them a try.  They are pretty generous fit wise.
