Day 14

Sleep claimed me far too prematurely yesterday, I didn't get so much done

My Wave load out saw about a year of IT use during an equipment overhaul and office refurb, going horizontally on the belt it's a lot of utility in not much space (Wave, bit card, extender and Olight). Mini Samaritan rode shotgun in the elastic sleeve  :tu:

Day 16

The 0452CF is a large knife, but it completely disappears in the sleeve, I've missed carrying my Explorer and this Alox Classic is simply fantastic, so thin!  :tu:

Day 17

Got my OHO GAK and Picknicker from Reinier today, Of course the carry attended package open duties and began the refurb work!

-Alox Classic shaved off any sticking up pieces of plastic from the GAK, it still looks dinged up, but doesn't really feel that way in hand

-The Wave began the bending process of the Picknicker's lock bar, it's at 100% and much higher tension than the GAKs, I'm not sure who at Vic thought a half stop on a locker was a good idea

Unfortunately I think they've sold me on 111m and more feature filled models that pop up on here second hand may be in trouble in the future  :viking:

Glad she's feeling better, Covid's a terrible thing. I got it at the end of September and I still have breathing issues amongst a few other things so I can fully empathise with her.

How has your recovery been? She has instances of covid brain every now and then and still has significant trouble with her chest (using breathing exercises several times a day as needed, it makes it hard to sleep sometimes). When she actually had it, it was pretty mild, she basically felt exhausted and slept for two weeks, but she didn't experience any real drops in blood oxygen etc. so we could deal with it at home

It's been up and down to be honest. Her experience sounds the same as mine, the two weeks I was "positive" I actually carried on working from home, but was asleep early most nights. I get the Covid brain, fatigue and my joints/muscles ache a lot, but the breathing is the main one. It can hit me out of nowhere, just when I think I'm doing alright. Usually when I'm out for a walk. I actually regressed a lot when the colder weather hit - that knocked me back a few weeks.

Rebar and loaded up altoids tin pouch today. Fun fact, when wearing it you can turn on the torch and walk around hands free light, makes me feel like a video game character
