Slip Joint Pliers

Any love for slip joint pliers?  I know they can be knuckle busters but I find they do come in handy sometimes.

I use them frequently at work. Mainly to keep a shaft from spinning while loosening opposite end.

They sure do have their uses.

I prefer the water pump (Channellock) style, but slip joint are small and light, and as BadMechanic pointed out: they have their uses.

Do you mean waterpump type or the ones that have an elongated fulcrum so that the pivot can move back and fourth?   Waterpump pliers are excellent!  :tu:
