Adam Savage: Giant Swiss Army Knife Repair!
on: October 18, 2020, 10:05:52 AM
Surprised this wasn't posted!

Adam does a one day build to repair the moving display SAK in his shop, I've followed tested for awhile and seen the display in the background but never knew it was missing a blade!

Thanks for that, I enjoyed seeing the insides of a ginormous display SAK.

BTW I'm not a qualified electrician, but I suspect that the green wire with a yellow stripe was probably meant for a simple earth connection (as a safety measure), not for some kind of fancy thermal cutoff sensor.

Always love watching Ama's one day builds and tha display model is so cool  :tu:

I had to cringe a little bit when he referred the the can opener as a blade and the bottle opener as the can opener multiple times

Watching his Hell Boy Samaritan build ,the amount of hyper precise machining is insane, that would be one satisying prop to handle  :ahhh

Mr. Elsener forgot to put "technically, these display knives are still owned by Victorinox so you're not allowed to own one" in the letter.
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.
