Pocket of little used garment? I recently found a special pen I had lost for over a year. It had been living in the pocket of a sport coat I rarely wear. I wore the coat and found my pen.
This reminds of the time I put on a shirt that I had not worn for a few yrs.. Found 200.00 in cash in the pocket..
Sure it’ll turn up sometime soon and somewhere you’ll kick yourself for not having looked...I would suggest something like borrowing a metal detector but there are so many metal items in a house that would probably be pointless...good luck
Found a Zippo lighter I forgot I had purchased.
Did it fall behind a drawer? Happened to me once (with just an empty SAK box and an IKEA BESTÅ cabinet).
Cool find FB!
You're getting close..........
TRUE STORY!!
Good luck!
Have you not heard about the Bantam Phantom, who, close to Halloween, sneaks into houses and steals small pocket knives? Legend has it, he was a Hessian soldier who fought with the British during the War of Independence. Between battles, he dropped his favourite pocket knife in a muddy field and soon afterwards was killed in a cavalry charge. Ever since, he has been seen after sunset, looking at the ground and muttering to himself, "Where did I put it! Where did I put it!" and sometimes people wake up in the night to see the Bantam Phantom inspecting their SAK collections.TRUE STORY!!
Is there a system to categorize all the SAKs into different group/pile/boxes? Maybe it was mistakenly placed into 84mm alox or 74mm?
That only happens wit 75mm SAKs. Mistakenly putting them in the 74mm group (I'm sure you get the joke ).
The funny thing is I have no problem of that either way, as long as Swisstool is out of the 'others' pile.

Don't just check pockets, check the linings as well. I once lost my sunglasses for some nine months. Looked everywhere for them. Bought new ones. Found them next winter in the linings of my winter coat. The inside pocket had a hole in the lining and they slipped through it right to the bottom of the coat. And I see how that could much more easily happen eith something as slim as a Bantam
I told my 5yo about your missing Bantam. She did not understand why a pocket knife would have the same name as a small chicken But she really wanted to help. She came up with this list:In the trash Pants pocket (too easy)In the dishwasher (don't put any SAK in the dishwasher!)In the prefab pancakes packaging On top of a painting on the wallIn your mailboxSorry. She tried

Some recliner chairs , American Comfort style is an example, have a FLAP at the bottom of the back.Things that fall out of pockets can slip past the cushions and arm rests but don't fall out of the chair onto the floor, they're trapped by the flap.Tug the flap open (usually held in place by velcro) and you may find stuff.Good Luck !
I remember when you've first posted a picture of that Bantam with these lovely cabon fibre and brass inlet scales I think those black scales could hide well in any darker or black corner/area/pocket/sheath/bag.Also, it is slim and slippery (Image removed from quote.)
Well, you can go CSI on your home. Just start with one room and check every inch, inside furniture drawers, underneath chairs and carpets. Once you're sure it's not there, move to another room and repeat.
Seeing as all the more usual suggestions still haven't turned it up, the above seems the next logical step. Include all garages, outbuildings, workbenches etc and look everywhere, don't miss a spot because you are certain it wouldn't be there.
With your large collection is it possible it's right there, being overlooked in your frenzy.I know I've misplaced items in plain sight
