I would have rather lost a Wenger Giant, at least it would be replaceable, expensive, but it could be done.
I would have rather lost a Wenger Giant, ...
Thank you all for your replies and details, it has helped. This is actually good news for me. They were all knives that were on my desk when I last saw them. Right at this time I had some remodeling done in my house, so lots of things were packaged up and rearranged. Since it is 4 knives (at least), it's quite likely they're all together. I obviously miss the custom Bantam one the most.
... it's like a thriller...
I still think the chance of it mixing in the wrong collection box is high. Maybe you temporarily put them in one of the boxes, thinking you will come back to retrieve them but didn't?
You are making progress and I believe you will find them FB!
My wife lost her Edelweiss Classic. I bought here a new red one, then some months later she found the Edelweiss in a handbag in the closet. Probably took it off her keys when she was going to fly somewhere, changed handbags and forgot. It took airport security to find my missing Juice XE6, in my Sister's backpack side pocket, after she had flown multiple domestic and international flights with it as her carry on. Right now I have no idea where my Buck 110 is, but I guess it'll show up one day. I usually find things when I stop looking, or look for something else. you now need to start looking for something unrelated and it will magically appear.I wish you luck!
Just go back to airport customs...
I keep coming to this thread hoping i would read "Here it is!"Hopefully you find it soon.
Good luck FoBo. Where's the least likely place it'd be? That's always proved to be where I've lost stuff. Not sure you can shortcut by going there first.I lost my first SAK, a Fisherman I was given in South Africa, when I was a boy and it still niggles.
I'm sorry about your Fisherman, FaB.Hmmmm, least likely place? That would be the grey barn shed. I'll check it today. (Image removed from quote.)
Looks like a dedicated SAK collection shed. But it's not apparently
It's insulated:And it has a loft:I had it built to house my brother's belongings (may he rest in peace) while I go through them.
Good luck, FB!
Thank you SG!The good news is I found the first backpack I ever bought. This is 30-35 years old. Hard to believe it looks so good.
Annoying, those gnomes with their dirty boots, walking all over your stuff
