Just 1.

I've not been carrying my green Cybertool lately (it's in bad shape). My trusty Executive is on my key chain.
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

  • Born to multitask.
Bladed tools?
Rebar and Olfa in Maxpedition, Deluxe Tinker in pocket, Manager on keys.

So, four I guess, on normal days. If I am in the process of doing a review, I will carry five.

58mm on keys.  This is always on my keys.
Trad with Squirt in sheath.  Lately I am carrying a Trad every day.  The sheath accommodates a tool so I chose the Squirt.
Full size MT.  Work only.
91mm.  Work or situational.  For work it's the Champion.  Outside work its my Explorer for the flea market.  Around the home it can be any number of SAKs I like.
Fixed blade.  Work and home.  Rarely carry one outside of work around town.

  • I'm blue!
In my pockets, usually, a SAK (Bushcrafter mod), a Spyderco Endura, Felco shears and folding saw. In my backpack a few more SAKs (Waiter and Ambassador).

I used to carry more (before I gained some weight myself  :D)

About 3 these days. Theres a Rambler with my car keys; usually a 77mm SAK in my pocket, as well as a full size SAK or Opinel, and a MT on my belt,if it's a day off or outing to the club. Work is just the Rambler and 77mm
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

I voted four, but it varies...

I pretty much always have at least three:  PWII and Alox Bantam in the wallet; 91mm or 93mm SAK in pocket.  I usually add a larger locking folder.  I sometimes add Knipex Cobra pliers, sometimes as a replacement for the larger locking folder.  I may add a traditional slip-joint, depending on mood and available pocket space.

  • Between this & that.
Workdays, four for me.

Rambler lives on my keyring, so is always carried.
RF pocket: Camper, Spartan, or lately, a serrated Recruit.
RL cargo pockets: Swisschamp and Soldier.

It feels ridiculous even to me. Yet much as I'd love to thin it all down, so far each knife has its reason. Dammit.

Days off: Rambler and two or three layers of 84mm or 91mm on my person; Swisschamp in my bag.
Rambler
