It certainly looks capable of many utilitarian tasks, but we have yet to see it properly reviewed and tested.
Looks a bit heavy at first glance.

I pledged one before the whole Covid thing, but they are finally getting the delivery's going, really excited one getting it and testing it :tu:

Participate  in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a LM Pocket Survival Tool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of an Axe for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of a traditional folder for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread with photos of your slasher/chopper/machete knives in use Start a new thread and post a photo of the keychain for thirty (30) consecutive days. This thing was put on kickstarter almost 2 years ago. I know Gadgetman7 has one in hand now. I don't think there is any potential for this tool whatsoever. Even with perfect quality execution the way it was designed is not good as an actual functional tool. And did I mention it weights more than the Leatherman Surge? I would tend to be kinder but the way it was marketed was disingenuous.

The Omni wrench is not something new..its a concept that has been around for ages, and there are many many tools already using its functionality.

But what really bothers me are the implementation of the Saw/File and worst of all the plier head..not only is it short and thin...it has far to many degrees of freedom, meaning it will be very hard to do any kind of heavy gripping. on top of this the pliers "sholders" are so wide..it can't enter nearly any small space...don't get suckers by this one. Especially at the price point.

Looking at it , I am probably being a little harsh as it clearly is made quality wise...I still feel the small pliers don't work in real world settings but the ability to remove the blade is a nice touch I didn't expect to see. I wish the bits themselves were not proprietary (aka ball detent) because the tool can only store it's own bits not a standard hex

I'm a fairly early backer (#723), and I'm waiting w/ baited breath for my shipping notice. I don't expect to replace anything in my carry, just add it as another option for belt or bag carry, but I'm really looking forward to trying the wrench. It's the killer feature for me.
