A bit late to the party. My uncle gave me his old Wave that he used prior to retiring. This one is not as old as some of the other ones on this thread but it is well used as it should be. Has a date code of 10/98.

One of the flat head is broken, and since it is still technically under warranty, I was going to send it in get it repaired as a sentimental tool. I might reconsider doing that now and just let the retired tool keep its battle scars.

Pretty damn certain my mint boxed never touched OG wave will be older still...
Was bought Xmas 97. I know it was Xmas as I bought it with Christmas money and I know it was 97’ as I left college that year too.
But it’s buried in the loft with all the other collection. Would take a huge effort to empty loft to find now.
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Ah, I should explain, scarfs were sort of my Christmas theme this year.  :tu: Both tartans are associated with my family.
