Sorry Sam, looks like you've been denied the contents of my festive Fuzzy Bag. However, I'm sure a virtual pat on the shoulder and a jolly well done anyways will suffice.

Eh, I come from a long line of losers...

I was not aware that there were different iterations within the OG wave model - does anyone have a pic of this rivet/spring change that has been mentioned?

Yes, I took a shi... not so good one in another thread not so long ago, I'll dig it out...

Edit: Here you go, I told you it was shi... It's Saturday tomorrow, I'll take some better pics then.

I'm sure I read somewhere ages ago, that you don't get production codes for January. Is that true?

Edit: scrub that, I've just found one on a Supertool. So... could we still potentially get a 0198 Wave?  :ahhh

As requested, some pics illustrating the differences between the early and later OG Waves:

Rivet fixing the retention spring inside the handle, 03 top

Jimping on serrated blade and scooped rather than square cut outs for the nail nicks

Textured and smooth bolsters, 99 on the left, 03 on the right.

Early (USA) and later plier heads

And a new one on me, I've only just noticed this, but the liner locks are slightly different on the two models

Thanks Fuzz for the pics and info shared.
I'd like the early Wave please  :D

It seems the Wave was already very much refined right from the start. Still Tim managed to improve it over the years.
