New tool

I've bought my share of keyring tools for a long time now, but I believe that I've my favorite.

I don't know why I hadn't gotten one earlier, but I picked up a Gerber Shard this past weekend and am really liking it.

Now I'm trying to figure out if I want to add it to my keyring,  add a shackle or what.

Agreed! I recently "discovered" the Gerber Shard. I now have two of them.

I'd also love to hear from people the best way to integrate it for keychain use. It's so handy but the size and placement of the hole, along with the utility-based need to have the pry/opening end and the Phillips end be free from the "keychain-attachment" part, make it a little awkward in a ring with things like keys, small flashlight, mini-pen, 58mm SAK. Also, because of the compact size of all that stuff, it's usually important to have the ability to quickly/easily disconnect it from "the pack" to use it.

What did you decide to do?
