I just got an MKM Root, which is a beautiful slipjoint from Italy. It comes with a fantastic leather pouch, which clips inside your pocket, holding itself in place with a pair of magnets.
Anyway, the Root is a little smaller than I'd expected, but it's nevertheless a very useful size for a knife - even in titanium, it's pretty lightweight. The blade is nice and thin and insanely "slicey".
What SAK fans might appreciate is the pouch, which is the right size for a Pioneer or even a Pioneer X. (I tried to get a Climber in there but it wasn't a nice fit. I guess Farmer X is too much of a fatty as well) They sell this pouch separately so it's a new option and a great solution to the old problem of how you schlepp a Sak around without it falling to the bottom of your pocket, or without you having to wear a belt just for the sake of a SAK pouch.
