Free T2: Good deal at eBay prices? Plus clip

Free T2 is going for around 20 at eBay

Add 10 for the clip

Is that a good deal?

I own one and it’s less bulky than the T4. You loose the scissors and the tweezers but seems more confortable to carry.

Seems a minimalist tool for me

What do you think?

Seems cheap enough  I like the T4 better but the T2 has it's place I am sure :salute:

I have the T4 and it's very useful.   I would miss not having the scissors on a T2.

I've ordered one to replace a Crater C33T, which I found a bit gimmicky. Of course, I'm not sure which is the bigger gimmick--the worthless "Blade Launcher" on the Crater, or the magnet-based locking mechanism on the Free. At least the locks work.

$20 is a steal! I paid more for the Crater, and even it was heavily discounted.

I bought a used T 2 and then a T4 on the secondary market to save on the price, just dont compare them with a beloved victorinox of any kind. Serviceable but the blade is like a fat cadet blade kinda short, drivers and awl, file etc are decent, phillips is good long reach, awl actualy works well. They take a bit of getting used to if youve been a die hard vic fan. Best of all everything locks.
