I love my Fisher bullet pens....but they do slip out of my pocket easily. I've lost a couple. Maybe I should stop taking the clips off them.....?

Somewhere in the mountains of Afghanistan there is a blue anodized Fisher bullet pen with my name and rank engraved on it. If found, please return to owner. Reward offered.

I'm with Fuzzy. Try it under water. ;) It might have leaked a bit and dried at the tip. Working it out might do the trick. Otherwise, no, never heard of ink, pressurized or not, having shelf life.

You guys are funny  :D. It's amazing how most of the threads sidetracked and derailed off topics.  :like:

Sometimes? ;) I'm surprised how many don't, but yeah, thread derailment is more a rule than an exception in these parts. :ahhh

Ahh... that's a pity  :-\
Anyways... how reliable di you find the clips for the Bullet pen? They are being sold separately?

Yes. And I hear you should practically hammer them on, really wedge them tight.

Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

That's a tad more exotic than the Jimmy Shand Bar circa 92, isn't it?

The design of the regular bullet cap is very slippery, hence the importance of sticking the clip on well.
There is another Bullet pen model with a squarer cap that would hold on the clip better, though.

Edit, more expensive and doesn't ship to Ireland!

Thanks!  :tu:

Too late though. While looking for refills I stumbled upon that raw brass Bullet Pen again.
And guess what... it comes with an ink cartridge installed. Exactly what I need, right?
Anyways, looking forward to some patina for my retina  :2tu:

These are my last two of four that I've had. (I don't count the fifth one that Mrs Nix 'gifted' herself after finding it in my trouser's pocket in a pre-washing machine flight check.).

There are times when I think about giving the black one a good soak in paint stripper......but then I remember that I may still decide to go to Ninja school, where, I'm sure, a black pen is required for awl classroom work. So, until a career in Ninja'ing is completely ruled out, I'm leaving it black.

A black bullet could find a double use with me.
It can come to ninja school; and also wear a classy brass bullet cap that I have laying around, for when I'm infiltrating ballroom events disguised as James Bond. :hatsoff:

Chrome is a king of nothing, IMHO. :D
