Leatherman Skeletool KBx and KB.
on: August 26, 2021, 12:42:19 AM
I have these photos posted in my Leatherman collection thread, but thought they should also have a thread all their own.

I just got in 2 more KBx knives along with the Curl. I thought I had everything for sale on Leatherman's retail website but took a far closer look once the Curl became available online. I found that I overlooked a pair of Skeletool KBx knives. I ordered them along with the Curl. So with that said, I just added a Coyote Tan KBx and a Black & Silver KBx. With that out of the way, I believe I now have all of them. I do find it interesting that there is only 1 Skeletool KB that offers a plain edge as opposed to all the colour variations of the serrated KBx.

Based on this. I am thinking half serrated is the most popular amongst the masses.

With the vast majority not exactly proficient in knife sharpening, I am sure that is the reason ::) A serrated blade has the appearance of staying sharp longer than a plain edge (while actually just the jagged edges will tear things longer  ;) :D ) and more people would rather have that and not have to attempt to sharpen
