I have one and love it. 

The hammer isn’t going to replace the real thing for normal use, but does work for things like a raised  ail on a bench or fence, or probably a stake into the ground.  The pry end is the same way, in your not going to be using to replace something else but it is nice why you don’t have a dedicated one.  The side has a 1/4in bit driver so that is nice too.

Looking at the pics it looks like it can take a leatherman bit in the top of the hammer face.

If so that would be a great place to keep the glass breaker bit that comes with the RX.
Is there any sort of retention to keep it in place?

Yea it can take flat bit end of it and 1/4” and 4mm hex on sides ( bonus you can put 1/4” hex also on lower hex hole), you can attach it to skeletool with screw ( if i correctly remember it was  m2 bolt ) throught smallest hole on side.
 I dunno is it good place to keep extra bit there without adding something to hold bit better there
