#1 for me too, good job on the mock ups RP  :tu:

One day left! I've been calorie counting the last few days and I think it's helped (with me coming in at or below my count of 2500 calories for the day). so...

Day 0

I'll be starting this challenge off at 362.6lbs and aiming to check in weight wise every five days  :salute:

wow, the dumbbell is really popular. I kinda liked the third one better, it being a little more elaborate, but any one works for me. :tu:

Another vote for dumbbell, I think the Tan color is pretty unique too.  :tu:

It's more easy to read for our international counterparts than stones/pounds  :dunno:

Thanks! And good luck to yourself as well, I won't say I was jealous of your final KFC but I will use this emoji

Day 1

Morning all, I’ve been trying to be good for the last few days and already feeling it might be having a small effect.

Going to try to cut back on the carbs a bit and less beer and snacks in the evening. I usually eat pretty healthily anyway and then in the evenings snack and drink too much

Don’t have any scales so will work on the how tight do my clothes feel method.
Breakfast was one slice of toast with a thin layer of cheesybite, slices of tomato, no butter. Coffee no sugar and milk.

Managed two lots of push ups, 23 and 30, so pleased with that. Took coco for 30 minute walk.

I’ve already found that doing this as a challenge with all of you is inspiring me to be mindful knowing you’re all doing it too :hatsoff: :salute:

I won’t post everything I eat or it’ll end up like Twitter a few years ago :pok: :twak: but as it’s day 1, here’s a pic of my dinner.

Left over cottage pie made with lean mince, lots of green beans, carrots, onion, baked beans and tinned tomatoes. Flavoured with curry powder, basil, garlic and mixed herbs. Cooked with a small amount of olive oil.

Mash is 25% spud, 25% sweet potato and 50% cauliflower. Butter, milk and black pepper added. Not made mash like that before but really nice.

Well, I probably had the worst start of this challenge.

Or actually, the ossenworst start. Pun intended.

I had planned to end November with a nice big lunch to say goodbye to my pre-2020 eating habits. So I ordered an amount of food I normally eat in three days. Stupid, I know ::)
But due to logistics we rescheduled and the big lunch arrived today...

Spicy Thai carrot/ginger soup, a sausage roll (minced meat in puff pastry), spicy chicken wrap, bacon/egg sandwich, ossenworst sandwich.

I skipped the bread (made it into my son's lunch) and shared some stuff with my wife.

Dinner will be healthier.

Day 1

Keeping a diary really helps to push myself to perform and track progress

Mrs. made some kale chips as a healthy alternative

Plan of attack:

1) Minimize sugar and carb intake
2) Minimize overall Calorie intake
3) Cold Shower
4) Intermittent Fasting (probably once a week for 24 hours, with water)
5) Start exercise indoor

Weight as of yesterday 184.3lb (83.6kg)

Considering I won't be training really hard, my goal is hopefully losing approx 0.5-1lb/week.  My diet haven't changed much over many years, but metabolic rate has dropped since I did exercise a lot less and have aged.

I will introduce mostly easy to do indoor exercise to get myself fitter, but no plan to bulk up but trying to be more 'functional' against my own bodyweight.  So many sets spaced out through out the day to start, and slowly build up reps and workout duration in each set to gain the cardio benefit.

Cold shower works wonder for muscle recovery, especially if it is in freezing cold temperature(used to do it in Canada) and probably need to get use to slowly.  But where I am not the weather is mild, 54F(12C) is not really cold but probably should still work.  If my body starts to ache more, I probably will go ice bucket if I have to.

Today, a slow-moderate start:

Squat 20/20/20
leg lift to side, unsupported 15
leg lift to front, unsupported 20
Leg life 110(ideally 180 until my toes could reach above head, but slowly build back up the flexibility for this one)  20
Push up 15

No snacking today. For drinks just coffee, water and a diet coke.
Dinner was stuffed chicken breast with pesto, pine nuts and tomato. Green asparagus, celeriac (?) mash.
Dessert was soy based pudding with berries and cacao nibs.

Sat behind my desk the whole day. That's bad.

Day 01

Good job so far guys! I keep unusual hours so it's still pretty early on for me, so far just one meal: Noodles (438 kcal), making an effort to not sit on my backside for too long and will be on my feet for a while later when I make more jerky and try making fudge for the first time. Calorie restriction (2500) going okay so far  :tu:

Day 1

So far today (about 5 hours up), I’ve had a protein shake for breakfast and half a nutrition bar for a snack.  I also did a 45minute walk with the dog.

I had a bad habit of not eating anything until 4+ hours after getting up, so I’ve gotten in the habit of at least have a protein shake within a couple hours of waking.
