23 hours?! My wife was in labour for 4 days! And that was with both our kids.

Loudliam, that is very rare though and was due to our shoddy health service having no space in the delivery suite. So don't worry pal.

Yeah they are tryin gto induce. They put some baloon contraption into her nether region and filled it with 60cc of fluid, I bet thats comfy. I'm hoping they will give her something to stop the contractions so she can at least eat and get some rest for tomorrow.

UPDATE: Well I went home to take a shower since I smelled like a goat, and her contractions stopped. She has an epidural and is comfortable, just no contractions. They are going to trya nd get them to start in an hour or so. Thanks for everyone out there keeping us in your prayers. I read this post to Marie and she gets a kick out of some of the replies. You guys are family.

I'll go for the 22nd at 10:55 PM. I hope all turns out well for you guys. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. My wife had to have a C for both of mine. I sat in the room with her for both. The Doc's to be on the safe side had me in a wheel chair with a nurse behind me "In the Ready Posistion" so to speak if in case I got woozy.

He is born. January 22nd at 2:08 AM by C-section.

Stats:

9 lbs 11 oz
22 inches long
15 inch head
Big Baby.
