28.

Two more days and I am done.
Case Medium Trapper again.
I really miss the utility of my other knifes. When at home or off duty I carry one knife/tool only, dont like a combo carry (MT plus knife) when going light, so usually a 2-4 layer SAK is my carry for most days.
This challenge is worth doing for the experience but hard for your habits.  :climber:

I know exactly what you mean.  I love the look and feel of the traditionals, but the utility of a SAK is tough to beat.

I've just ordered a Case small Texas Jack and it is absolutely all your fault.  :twak:

Either that or it's a knife I've been thinking about for years and finally decided to stop mucking about and order one.  ;)

Even if I've not said much I have been reading and enjoying your month of trads.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

29.

On a *short* bike hike today. 40km, 800m up and 800m down. 0°C and wind 5-6bft. yay.

Currrently I am hugging behind a shack between some fields, out of the wind a bit, making a quick meal.

Medium Stockman in pocket, LM Crunch in bike tool bag.

Looks like a good time! :tu:
I don't know about everyone, but I sweat easily and actually do enjoy cooler weather for hiking.

 :drink: :ahhh

Whohoo.
Its been a hard time not to cheat. On my daily basis Ive been so used to a handfull of tools that a blade only carry was very, very challenging. Lets see what makes it into my pocket tomorrow  :climber: :multi:

Ive made a couple more shots of a kids hut I found in the wood, like requested some days earlier. Will post them later.

Oh, I forgot. Had to make a quick brush out of dry grass to clean my daughters muddy shoes. In the morning the path was frozen, afternoon it was pure mud...

And a pick of a kids hut I sometimes find in the woods. This one was really large and well made (and partially collapsed since it has been build some time ago it seems).
My daughter played about 2h just at this spot.

A bit late but Congrats on the badge.  It was well deserved.  I enjoyed your journey and the knives you carried.  While I love my traditionals I find paring it makes the most sense for me.  I like to pair them with a Squirt and SAK.
