On My Way

Well it's ten after six in the morning and I've been on my way for almost two hours now.  I am waiting in Halifax for my flight to Toronto, where hopefully I will get online again before getting on a flight to Floridania.

I'm looking forward to getting somewhere warm!  Luckily the snow we were supposed to get overnight turned out to be rain, and the local temperature is all of 3C this morning.  As usual I am flying in sandals, since it's easier to take them off at security checkpoints, and let me tell you, waiting for a shuttle bus in Halifax at 4am in January is not the place for flimsy footwear!

But, it's all worth it... in a few more hours I'll be in Florida, meeting up with some Multitool.org members and getting ready for the show!

Well, I made it.  I am posting this from my hotel room, and guess what?  My SAK display case was here waiting for me!  :D  Man, it's gorgeous!

It was an interesting trip to say the least.  When I left Halifax it was wet and +3C, then in Toronto it was -21C and everything was covered in snow, and now it's 17C here.  I'll be running across the road to grab some lunch and "supplies"  :drink: shortly.  I didn't think I was going to make it until much later- in fact, I had been bumped to a later flight, but it's amazing what a mad dash across the airport terminal with your pants falling down can accomplish!  I know, I know, I really should stop doing that one of these days....  but at least this time I can blame it on the airlines since it was them that insisted I take off my belt.  I told them I was not responsible for any resulting nudity... silly woman probably thought I was joking!
