Okay, how much time does it take for someone to become this good at flipping these things around? Is this like a "2 bong hits and then 3 hours a day in front of the TV" kind of skill?

Butterfly knives are fun to pretend to be a bad ass with, but in the time it takes someone to finish flailing them about, I could just throw my unopened Surge at their forehead.

I'm sure that would be just as fatal :o :D

I've never been into butterfly knives as I always found a conventional OH folder to be much faster, and a good deal more reliable when your stressed too I bet :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

Looks like that dude should stop hitting the bong and practicing with his bali and go out and get a job!   :o

Man I want to take a shower just looking at that guy!

Benchmade and Spyderco makes balisongs.  Cold Steel made them too but I believe they discontinued them recently.  There's also a whole variety of cheapie balisongs made in the US.

Those "catches and retreives" are for show only.  In a real life situation a balisong can be as quick as a one handed opener, and are considered by many to be the strongest folding blade.
