Sorry for the late response. Saw this was nearly finished back in Dec. and was just wondering how it turned out? Good holsters are the key to comfortable all day carry. Did you wet form the holster for a more precise fit? What I've done in my attempt at holsters is wrap the pistol in plastic kitchen wrap and stuff it in the holster. Saturate the holster and press the leather to mold it around the pistol. Then bake at low temp with the wrapped pistol in the holster to dry it and shrink it a bit around the pistol, then oil the leather while it is still warm, and rub the holster with a smooth round stone or wood dowel to bring out the details. A better fitting holster is less fatiguing to carry because the pistol won't bounce around in the holster and also won't rub the finish off the pistol.
