YES!

But what do you mean by palm-size? AA, AAA, watch-battery size?
What do you want to use it for?
I have a Thrunite Ti3 that runs on AAA, and I've used a Lumentop Tool AAA clicky. Both useful, but different sizes.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

I'm not really sure what you mean by "palm sized" but there are several single AA/14500 or 16650 lights that are decently bright, but that too is subjective.

For single mode lights (or at least lights that can be set up as single mode) I like the Streamlight Protac 1l-1aa for its battery versatility or the FourSevens Quark.

I hear good things about the Lumentop Tool AA but I don't own one myself. I believe that is a "press button again for next mode" type of setup.

There are definitely useful flashlights of all sizes, but as others have indicated more information is required before a recommendation could be made.
- What do you mean by palm-sized and what size are you wanting?
- What do you want the light for?  Do you want long distance or light up a room?  Is color rendering important?
- Do you want one with commonly found batteries or rechargeable?  If rechargeable, do you want removable batteries or integrated charging?

There are what I consider palm-sized lights in all these options.  A simple AAA or AA flashlight (Lumitop Tool, Fenix E12 and E01 are are good examples) can be useful for many daily tasks.  CR123 and 18350 flashlights (Olight S1, Acebeam TK16, EagTac D25c) are frequently more powerful than the AAA/AA and are still what I would consider palm-sized.  There are keychain flashlights (Rovyvon Auroras and Nitecore Tube) with built-in batteries and integrated charging that can reach a few hundred lumens, which is definitely sufficient for many tasks.

As a biologist I have to ask, what kind of palm? I mean there are dwarf-palms, the Chamaedorea cataractarum usually is less than 1.5meter, others like the Ceroxylon quindiuense can grow up to 45m...  :P

More on the Topic, there is pretty much a tiny flashlight for everything
The Manker MC13 is quite the thrower (760m according to manufacturer) and the T4K from Nitecore blasts 4000 lumen :o
The only thing palm-sized flashlights don't offer is high output AND long running time, obviously. Although, the T4K can run, while being charged, so you can actually get incredible runtime with a powerbank. Also, according to Nitecore you can get 2h45min @ 200 lumens, which is quite impressive.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Given the time that has elapsed with no further comment from the OP, it may not be worthwhile to post this, but my favorite palm-sized flashlight is my Fenix E30R.

Some of notable features:
  • Five brightness levels
  • Waterproof
  • More flood than spot
  • Runs on one 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries
  • Magnetic charging port
  • Lockout function
  • Battery level indication
