I just did a thing...

Boredom gets me every time.
Picked up a Gerber Suspension NXT multi tool today.
Just wanted another M/T as a beater to go along with my others.  My only gripe, so far, is the lack of a belt pouch.  They did include a lanyard attachment point though.  I've got enough paracord I may as well make my own pouch...

I got one too a while back and was not impressed. Pliers were so hard to open, they got really hot after opening and closing them a few times. Tool implements were almost impossible to open with fingers only.
A tool like that should not leave the factory. Took me a while to get it into shape.

How is yours?

Actually, mine is fine.
The ONLY complaint that I have is with the pocket clip.  It's really flimsy, IMHO, and seems to be added as an afterthought to replace a pouch.
The awl blade?  At first look, I thought it was supposed to be a utility blade. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh, I did find a belt pouch, for it, on ebay.  Molle compatible, vertical/horizontal carry.  I have one just like it that I keep my rigging/paracord knife in.

It should be here tomorrow.😀

I have a NXT and really like it. I also  thought it should have come with a pouch though. I have a ton of multitools, and I found a pouch that belonged to a Walmart Ozark Trail tool that I was not using, and it fits the NXT like a glove!  :tu:
