Hello fellow multitool aficionados. My name is Mike and I hail from Cincinnati, OH. I've been a Leatherman fanatic since the late 90's when I got my Super Tool ('97 manufacture date), which I carried on my belt and beat to death for over 10 years. I've since acquired many other Leatherman multitools and, though my career as Manager is not the kind of hands-on work that made me start carrying a multitool way back when, my Wave+ is still in my pocket and gets used every single day.

The reason I'm here is to confess that I have lurked in this forum for a number of years and, to my shame, I have stolen from you! I've stolen your ideas for mods, carrying options, accessories...and used them for myself. I hope you can find it in your 154CM stainless steel hearts to forgive me. I'm still going to steal these things from you, but being totally out in the open about it absolves me of guilt, right?

Thanks for the welcome, all. I'll need to take some pictures of my tools and figure out how to post them. But, here are a few of the things that just came to mind:

-Swapping a 154CM plain edge blade into the Wave+
-Skinth sheaths
-Putting a pen clip on the bit extender
-Heat coloring some inconsequential parts like pocket clips because I'm too scared to do it to actual tool parts (and I like shiny things)
-Using nail polish to make the ruler markings more visible
-Adding magnets to pivot screws

The list can go on. But I'm going to attempt some more serious mods that I haven't done before (SAK scissors into the Wave, for instance) so I thought I should come clean now.
