On its way to the delivery depot now, so perhaps tomorrow, SurgeUK if we’re lucky? Still much better than I was expecting tbh, and much like the timings I got in previous years. My flabber will be gasted if it makes to tomorrow- here’s hoping

Question now is of course ‘carry or keep’ - too nice to carry but too good not to carry!!

Doesn’t look like it - seems Victorinox UK registered and collect taxes at purchase as before since it didn’t sit for long in customs, but I’ll only know for sure when it gets here, hopefully tomorrow. One thing that is clear is that we’re paying the highest prices!

I didn’t have to pay any extra taxes or import duty on mine.

That’s good to know HB, thanks. According to Parcel Force’s tracking, my PX tiger orange is due for delivery today,  :woohoo: Hope the same is true for you, SurgeUK. Given it was ordered on Monday, that’s as good as pre-Covid-19, pre-Brexit days! :D

:iagree:  It says out for delivery  :tu:

However, it's going to my mates house as I have "issues" getting stuff delivered to my door (they can't bl**dy find it  ::) ) So I won't see it for a few days yet

Well it has turned up  :woohoo: Slightly darker orange tone on this in comparison to my other orange alox, a BTI harvester - very nice colour! I trust yours will be with you soon, SurgeUK!

Well spotted, Reinier, it certainly is - I just liked the camo design, and the smaller knives just didn’t satisfy that itch! :tu:

I found one available in US at Red Hill Cutlery.

My plan was to buy one there today, as the store is less than 10 miles from my home.

Unfortunately, their first batch of Pioneer Xs sold out. I’ll have to wait a bit, it seems.

Very nice
Mine did arrive today  :woohoo: but is at my mates house (see previous post)  :bnghd:

That means I'll have to wait to get my mits on it. We'll go for for a socially distanced walk (sans coffee)  ::)

Sorry to hear that you have to wait longer now.  Hopefully my order got in before they sold out.

I can't believe they didn't make a Cadet in this colour! Must be some kind of world-wide conspiracy to deprive me of my dream EDC Victorinox!

Yes, I ordered one px for 69 € already

Enviat des del meu Pixel 3a usant Tapatalk
Finally I found it 10€ cheaper in a spanish store, and I could camcel first order... So, finally  purchased for 59€.

By the way, if you're still waiting for yours or you're undecided, there is a guy posting videos of Victorinox alox knives on yoytube (the channel's name is Alox...), and he just posted today a video about the new orange PX. You can take a good look at it.

Looked on eBay for the PX and worked out to nearly A$150 so decided to try Munz & Messershop as their prices are often pretty good - got my green FX from them amongst other things.

When I first went in price was €67.98 + €9 shipping, about A$135
Started adding coloured tweezers and toothpicks as 0.40 and 0.10 respectively which seems very reasonable and hit purchase. A warning came up and said prices have changed.

Continued on as a bit hard to understand the translation but turns out all had gone down in price :like:
Very happy about that. Ended up being €57.98 and less for the T&T’s too.

Final cost with delivery and 15 sets of T&T’s €73 (A$123)  :tu: :tu:
Only drawback is not available until 31 January

Bear in mind shipping to Australia will be excruciatingly slow, if my effort at getting Christmas presents to New Zealand is any indication. I sent a small carton with some books in it at the end of Nov, and nothing had arrived several days into Jan. I haven't checked since then so it could be in transit still. Serves me right for being cheap and sending a parcel without tracking.
Anyway, as nobody (including Andy Murray!) is flying much there are fewer flights between hemispheres so you could be in for a tense wait!

My FX took about 6 weeks and that was in stock, but in no massive hurry, sooner save the bucks

Yeah Australian Open is starting to look like the walking wounded eh

I'm guessing the new price excludes the VAT. Its hard being in Australia. Everything is so expensive to ship here.
