yes and will also help to prevent the tools from snapping. since i slimmed down the phillips driver it's a little weaker and i get worried about it on stubborn screws when i'm twisting it the regular way. the increased torque saves me from having to really test the limits of the slim phillips

Great idea, and I'm with McStitchy's way of thinking that it should come like that from the factory but, I guess that legalities, warranty claims, et. al. are factors that impede such; how many will be torquing down on that itty bitty 420hc steel flat stock to remove a rusted bolt/nut on its old car/lawn chairs/farm equipment/house heater-boiler... stil, I'm thinking of doing it to one of my Waves' bit driver (a la Metro; I think).

Anyway, that tool keeps looking better and better, and functionality wise ...  :drool:!
