Small pocket pouch for the SwissTech 19-in-1

I like this little fella. Has got lots of SD possibilities, plus some not too bad pliers and bit holders. Oh, and a bottle opener, too!

 :D :D

Nice as it is, I don't want to have its pointy tips and metal surface damaging anything else in my pocket, so... made a little pouch to carry it. Very slim, didn't add almost nothing to the tool original size/weight.

One tip, for those making a similar pouch: let the strip that holds the flap 0.5/1mm longer than the width of the pouch. It'll make inserting/removing the flap easier.

Hope you like it!

Side by side comparison:

Inside look:

Fits very snuggly.

I didn't stitch the sides together awl the way up, so it's easier to remove the tool.

Nice work!  :like:

How are these screwdrivers in use? Being on a rotating axis, do they collapse easily during use?

Not really. To begin with, they're not very easy to deploy, so it helps keeping them in place. Since they're not very big, they only get used in small screws, that don't demand too much strength. You can use it inline or with the driver at 90º. In the latter, you can press your palm onto it while rotating, making it more steady.

I have more of a problem with the pliers. With them, it's easier for the handles to rotate, if you're applying too much force. You can avoid this, with some care, and, with time, you get used to handle it, in a way that prevents the handles folding.

It's not a very expensive tool and I think it's worth its cost, despite these little problems.
