Greetings from Bulgaria

Hi all, my name is Davis, I'm in my 30s and I am a tool addict
My fascination with pocket knives dates from as long as I can remember and is embedded deep in my genes - both my grandfathers never went anywhere without one. So naturally I wanted to be like the grown ups without really thinking about it but later I found out the usefulness of having one with you. While at school I had all sorts of gas station style and quality pocket knives - they were all that I could afford and in our small town there were nothing else. Online shopping wasn't really a thing yet. When I joined the university and moved to a bigger city there was that big hardware store with a Victorinox showcase. They seemed expensive to me, but got around it and bought a Spartan. Around that time I joined a local knife forum and found out about so many different brands and stiles. Which led to me buying a Spyderco Tenacious. From there on it was a snowball effect - now I own 5 Multitools, about a dozen SAKs and a lot of other (mainly folding) knives - totaling at about a hundred. And I have no intention of stopping
Even my job is evolving around knives and tools - I am a leather crafter.
Found the forum while researching Leatherman models with the intention to buy my fourth one (got the Rebar which I already thought about but when I saw how many people here carry it,love it and mod it - I was convinced). I joined here because I saw a lot of like-minded people I can share my experiences with and read about theirs.
Cheers

Welcome on board. A Tenacious is a helluva good place to start
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

Thanks guys!
Tenacious was a great starting point indeed - it started an everlasting appreciation of Spyderco knives. I’ve got a few more of them since

enki_ck - I might be new here but have let the obsession developed for years, so it’s too late for that

welcome mate
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible
"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob
