Hi all, new member from the "grim North" of England. I've posted a little in the SAK forum already, which is where I'm likely to spend most of my time, but thought I'd say hello properly.

I've used a SAK for over 20 years now, although no longer doing any real outdoors stuff and being completely office and admin based for work means my youthful obsession with different SAKs died off and my Work Champ and Signature Lite just got the odd bit of use around the house. However, replacing the aging Work Champ has rekindled the fire - and now I've got the money to get the odd extra here and there (I've already got a Spartan downstairs at home so I can keep the new Work Champ upstairs!) The Signature Lite is also on hand when I'm working from home and now comes with me on my one day in the office. I still need to watch out for who sees it, mind.  :whistle:

I've always had an obsession with other tools/multi-tools without needing any, so I'm looking forward to what bad habits this place leads me to.  :D

Ah, a local! Pre-Covid I spent as much, if not more time around Manchester and Salford watching sport as I did in Preston. Can't wait to get back to all of that.

I went to Salford University, lived in Lower Broughton, on the site of the old racecourse, during my time there. I watch Salford RLFC for my sins, too, so I know the place well! And the same to you my good man...

My brother was in Salford University. I used to be there quite a bit, the bookbinder there used to make leather albums for my business when I was working as a wedding photographer.
