Day 11:
Time to get my cowboy on:

Another wood framed pen. This time the pen is a courtesy gift from Finland Post. Logo dates this around the millenium methinks. Feels good in hand but nothing special as a writing experience. This time used for documenting this mornings air pistol shooting session.

All the pens are lined up at the truck stop this morning, ready to go. Just hear all those throbbin diesels ticking over....

"Thrum-thrum-thrum, burble-gurgle, Kshhhh"

Day 11

Staying home today with my Grandson. He has a stomach bug.
The Sakura Pigma Micron is my favorite doodling pen, as well as bill paying pen.

Look for a bonus pic later paying homage to Old Lefty’s outstanding post pic from today.

So what are some good affordable tactical pens? Like in the <$20 range?
Smith&Wesson should fit that price range. Good quality too

A homage to old Lefty...

Colt SAA, H&B Forge Camp ‘hawk, and my Montblanc Meisterstuck. Because it is a pen challenge...

I bought the Montblanc new in 1999 for the princely sum of $89.99 at Service Merchandise. It was my primary work pen until I bought the Maxmadco a few years ago.

Hand gun that won the West, proper ’hawk and a high quality pen. What else does a man need to build an empire with  indeed? Not much, I reckon! Tilley hat and a Hawken perhaps if really pushing it :)

Lovely setup. Sir, I salute you!

Day 12:
Inspired by small blade thread:
Cross’s Concorde pen with my ’will take onto a plane Spyderco’:

The pen is not the one BA was giving out to Concorde passengers at one point (that is also a Cross, but rather different shape. I have couple of those somewhere, at least one is at the office I think) but rather the commorative one they sold when the Concorde was taken out of comission. Being a fan of the said plane I had to get one.
It is a Cross, so it feels nice in hand and writes beautifully

Oddly, the nicest looking pen I have right now might be this promotional given to me when I visited Grace Baptist Church of East Flat Rock, North Carolina.

The knife is a huge 7 oz. Husky, the model of which I have not been able to determine.

Saturday is MacGyver Day:

2 last episodes of season 4 tonite. They're starting to show the reboot next week. Was not a fan originally, remains to be seen if more likable this time

I’ve not seen the new MacGyver yet. But, I hear there are no SAKs to be seen?
