Day 29:30 (T -1)

Since there will be not much writing today (school's out this week), and I don't go to the clinic on Mondays, the Black Bullet is out for the errand note that comes by.

Day 30

So there we are, then. Day 30/30. It's been a fun introduction for me to challenges on MTO and very interesting to see the pens in everyone's collection.

I've finished with a group shot. "Day off" tomorrow and then into the PX challenge for April.

Good work, awl. It's been good.

Day 30:30

Today's the last day of my first challenge, and it has been a quite different experience than when "watching from the stands". Thanks to old lefty for allowing me to participate, and to the Mods for allowing the use of different pens! To Jim, pipedreams, Michael and Don Pablo, for being part in this unusual challenge. Take care, and see you at the threads!

(I did too found fit to finish with a group shot, including some of the "runner ups" for the challenge!)

DAY 30!

This wasn’t much of a challenge, as I carry my Maxmadco daily for work. What surprised me was how much I rely on other pens to fill in the gaps where I don’t want to risk losing my Precious. I hadn’t ever really given it any though. I enjoyed seeing everyone’s writing instruments!

Day 30 of 30

This has been fun, even if a little embarrassing to show how little respect pens get around my house. Getting a really nice pen has not been a big priority to me over the years, but because of this challenge, I bought my first combat pen. Anyway, the pens that were immediately available for duty showed up for their picture to be taken.

As a newbie on challenges, how or where should I go to request the badge?

Great job to all of you guys :woohoo: :like: :like:

Juan,  you go to your profile and then the Awards pull down menu then Show Available Awards, then find the award and request it. Once you get to that you paste the url to the correct thread as your reason to get it and then a moderator has to approve it

Great set of pens. Congrats on your penmanship, too!

I have a lousy handwriting. I think faster than I write (that only means I'm a slooow writer), which causes my writing to be erratic and impatient.

I carry a Maxpedtion note book holder in which I carry a Zebra 701.  I've carried this set up for years now ( 2013 ) I think?  Anyways, I've not changed the pen cause its reliable and sturdy.  I have not been tempted to change even tho I see some wonderful pens  :gimme:.  I'm a lefty and tend to smear ink so for notes I tend to go with a pencil.  I like the M301 by Zebra with .5 lead.  Nothing wrong with a go to pen/pencil.   :salute:

Thank you for the badge, Poncho/Mods, and to you too Aloha for the compliment; for the price Zebras can't be beaten (I know about  the Parker Jotter, but I'm not fond of the smooth barrel, as my fingers tend to slide off of it). At first I was worried for the refills but, finding out that the ubiquitous Fisher PR series work fine, and the FP cartridge is quite sturdy and easily refilled with a syringe (the regular one has it from 1 1/2 years ago, and the pocket one can use either my modified OE or universal short cartridges), I'm really pleased with them.

 :hatsoff:
