Awesome!  You're going to be surprised Tim.  These knives are useful beyond their size.

Count me in!  This should be quite interesting to participate, since many of us have done the 111mm, STACK or Mad Max in previous challenges.

Well, if it is Barry's challenge, I'm guessing it is a "No Quarter Asked" affair.

Very interesting.

Let's see in the next days... I'm tempted to put my Rambler in this challenge. (A Alox minichamp would be better, but It became a quite expensive here).

But the Rambler serves me very well.

Justify the expense of having them by moving them from their places to my pockets, what else do you use these things for?

I'm new around here, so please excuse the newbie question...

How does this challenge work? I've carried a 58mm everyday since since about 1995, first a Cavalier, then a MiniChamp.

Thanks!
SAKs:
58mm: Bijou (3), Classic SD (7), Mini Champ Plus (mod), Alox Classic SD, Rambler (3), Companion
65mm: Wenger Esquire
74mm: Executive
85mm: Evolution S557, Traveler,
91mm: Champion "c", Swiss Champ (4), Explorer (3), Deluxe Tinker, Huntsman, Serrated Spartan/Weekender, Explorer Plus, Deluxe Explorer Plus (mod), Outdoorsman Plus, Champion "a", Champion Plus, Timekeeper Alarm, Golfer
93mm: Pioneer Alox

Oooh, you are in luck!

Sign up by adding your name to the list.

When the challenge starts (01 June), carry your 58mm SAK every day for 30 days.

Each day of the challenge, post a photo of your SAK and a little comment describing how the SAK was useful (or how it failed to be helpful and you had to resort to another tool to get a task accomplished).

E.g. "01 June, used my Midnight Manager to jot down a grocery list. However, I needed a can opener when I got back from the store and had to dig out a trusty Spartan." [photo]

The idea is to test, observe, and share your experience with a tool for 30-days. Some people will just carry the challenge tool (small SAK for this challenge), some people will carry a back-up tool like that trusty Spartan. If you carry a back-up multitool, always try to use the challenge tool first. If the challenge tool fails to 'cut the mustard', let us know!  The idea is to learn just what a tool can do and what its limitations might be.

Sounds a bit complicated, but it is dead simple and easy....as long as you remember to post a photo everyday.

Complete the challenge and you may request a merit badge (like the little icons you see at the bottom of people's signature blocks).

Jump in! Ask questions along the way!   :tu:

Inquiring minds...

No feel free to carry and rotate any keychain SAK you want.  I'm going to do a rotation myself, I believe.
