By the way, great uses everybody. :tu:

Nicely done Rizio made short work of that I'm sure.  :like:

Does the Midnite have an LED?

It's Wenger Wednesday so the PTC sorted out some cereal packaging and then cut the tag off a new folding Titanium Spork  :dd:

Very nice Phil!  I need to get a titanium spork myself.

Day 16 saw us replacing the glove box bulb in Mrs. R's car.  The SD tip on the Classic removed the cover nicely.  Trying to get this pic was a feat unto itself

I’ve never seen one in the flesh and this really is a very kind gesture from a childhood friend I got back in contact with recently. He happened to mention he’d picked up a few SAKs in some trading and asked me about them. I’m really touched tbh. Now all I need is some Champ challenge or some such to get involved in …

That must be one heck of a childhood friend,  Fast Bill.
Every time I meet up with old friends, they want to borrow money.
On a sad note, though, there's fewer of them around these days now.

Thanks! The Wallet if from an Etsy store called Gentleman Revival, the missus got me it as a birthday present a few years ago. This particular one has a couple of card slots, a flap behind that for cash and holds a Moleskin XS Volant and spacepen. I have some photos of the ones I care about tucked into the slit that holds the notebook too  :tu:

Here's the store: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/GentlemenRevival

I have a card holder from him as well, fantastic leatherwork

One of the keys on keyboard is not working, and turned out it was a seed stuck underneath it.  The pry tool from the Rambler came in handy. :D

I guess the better question is how good is the illumination?

I have a Traveller Lite which underwhelms with its candlepower so much so that I never bothered to put the batteries in my Mountaineer Lite ...

Long story. Another old drinking buddy found me on Linked In and I got in contact through him. A great character and really into his militaria. But yes we're all watching the sands of time so best make the most of it!

You do indeed need a titanium Spork Barry. In the way of these things I've collected a few and the folding variety are quite handy. Got this one from https://www.backpackinglight.co.uk/cooking-accessories/page/2/ and it's got quite a generous sized spoon capacity compared to others.

In the round I reckon the Light My Fire Ti Spork is the best of the bunch but hey, I still use the others as they all transfer potential energy to the boiler

Day 16.
Fast Bill reminds me that the sands of time are still falling.
At this stage of my life I should be paring down my stuff, but nooo.  I'm simply getting even with my kids because when I'm gone they're gonna have to go through it all.  This, coincidentally, brings me to today's MC duties, opening another package.  Definitely the last one, for awhile, the Boss Lady has threatened to break all my fingers... 🥺
