We had been sworn to secrecy at the time, but as it is long discontinued, I imagine the non disclosure is pretty inert....

Gerber actually contacted me and sent me a pre production model to evaluate.  I sent it around to a couple of admins and we submitted feedback on it.

I'm not 100% sure if this was a result of our input, but I don't believe the icon identifying the bottle opener was on the pre production version, and I do recall thinking the bumps on the side of the handle were an odd style choice.

At the time, Gerber was very interested in our input, and their designers admitted to me that they spent a good amount of time here, and made several changes based on our feedback- which of course we were unaware we were giving them.  One of the things they changed was the 2D Phillips screwdrivers, and they also put the Shard into full production, largely on our interest.  They had previously decided not to so as not to pull interest from the Artifact.

MTO has had a significant effect on the industry over the years.   :D
