Hello gentlemen, I'm fairly new to the whole discontinued/modded multitool game. I've been looking around and it seems like Leatherman Kick clips go for incredible amounts of money, so maybe one of those would be a good idea to manufacture? I'd really love it if they could be available in a black finish, but I understand that is another level of complexity to an already complex project. Thanks so much!

I was thinking this, or at least a pocket clip that can be retrofitted to many different Leathermans. It doesn't need to be exactly like a Kick clip... and perhaps using whatever fastener is already on the tool and not requiring its own fastener.

A interchangeable blade option for gerber series. Like the ones they already make. It’s hard to buy a whole tool for one part 🤦🏻
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

I'd definitely be in for a Sugre blade of upgraded steel, but not tanto style.

Finished products were delayed somewhat. It turned out that there are a lot of pitfalls in production.

I present the first batch for sale:
Steel K110 hardness 59-62

Surge style Blade - $70 with shipping
Rebar style Awl - $40 with shipping

At the moment, blanks from steel N690 have been cut for Signal, Surge regular and tanto, Wave regular and tanto, signal awl. So far, the production of one blade takes 1.5-2 days. And while I can not predict when I will make the next batch of products.

These look very good Loki.

Will the Signal blade be the same thickness as the original? Will it be a plain edge blade with a tanto tip?

Cheers, Pete

I try to make the blades as close as possible in thickness to the original (depends on the thickness of the original metal - sometimes it is difficult to find the right thickness).  On the Signal until the blades are of a standard shape (with an increased length, when possible).  On the MUT and Signal wanted to try to make blades with reverse tanto.
