Today’s Accomplishment(s)!
on: March 24, 2021, 06:16:32 PM
I got my car paid off, thank you Uncle Sam (and fellow taxpayers)! It is an older (2005) car, but very reliable. It will be the second car that has been paid for, and the first to be paid off in payments. I’m very fortunate to have it paid off. The next step is to look into property options, such as some land and a manufactured home, or something as a starter property that will go up in price.

Great news! Enjoy it!

  :tu:

As per buying some land/house, I'd say try renting first. If it doesn't work as you thought it would, it's easier to get rid of it and find a better one. It can work as a test drive, to find what works and what doesn't and what you can improve, when you finally go for the buy option.

Whatever you chose to do, I hope it works out for the best!

  :drink:

My last Jeep payment was in January, and I can understand and appreciate how good it feels to own your car and finish those payments!

Congratulations on finding the end of it!

Leave the dents as they are- let your belongings show their scars as proudly as you do yours.

I’ve now owned two vehicles that were paid off. Feels good. The first one I should still be driving (2003 Toyota Tundra), but I traded into a different truck (2007 Honda Ridgeline) to have more room for my family to ride in it. The Tundra was an extended cab. I’m driving a 2005 Lexus ES330 now, love the car, especially since adding a new stereo and backup camera, too. Now, though, I may going into payments again but for different reason; I’m looking at buying my first place, and I may need a pickup for hauling things around.
