The undisputed Queen of the famed Nurburgring track in Germany and Top Gear presenter, Sabine Schmitz passed away at 51 after battling cancer.

Terrible news, and she was way too young.

I was lucky enough to see Sabine race in the South African tour car championship back in the 90s when she was a BMW junior. At the Scribante round,she was greeted with universal adoration. A great driver, taken too young
There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!

Agreed.  Definitely a tragedy.  On top of everything else, she was hilarious riffing with Clarkson, Hammond and May.  In many ways I wish she had gone to Grand Tour with them.

She'd have made a great addition to the guys.

That is terrible news, poor Sabine and her family, she was wonderful on Top Gear, very funny and highly skilled. Very sorry to hear that :(
