Need a back spring for Victorinox 84mm scissors. Bought a lemon with a cracked back spring. Such is life.

Those instructions show how to adapt Wenger scissors with a blade backspring and a (thick) blade tang as the rest, which has worked well for me. Perhaps this would work for Victorinox scissors as well? Also, Syph has described using shortened 91mm scissor backsprings on 84mm knives here. That was for 91mm scissors, but judging by the pictures it should work for 84mm scissors as well.
