That gap houses the spring for the four outer blades.

Ok, I can see the springs at the thumb stud cutout and at the slots on the inside when the blade is open.

I just saw a YouTube vid of it cutting some nails in two.  No damage to the wire cutter jaws.  Did they harden the cutters?

SOG needs to do something similar to the Leatherman OHT and put symbols indicating which tool is where by putting an imprint of the implement on the scales/handles.

There seems to be some unused real estate toward the front of the tool.  Maybe tuck a small SAK tweezer or eyeglass flat blade driver (separate implements) into the spring slot?

This MT has too many flat blade drivers (4) and no scissors.  Can the micro flat blade be removed and replaced with a small scissors from another SOG MT?  Is there an across-the-MT lineup compatibility?

Also would love to see this tool in gold Ti/Ni.
