I’m an old man and just enjoy talking about knives, SAKs in particular but I have no need for badges.
Thanks for passing this on, much appreciated.
Personally I don’t see the preoccupation with being awarded “badges”. I’m an old man and just enjoy talking about knives, SAKs in particular but I have no need for badges.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They ought to award you a badge for not needing badges. There ought to be a badge for that.
And you should get the Joke Recycler Badge https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,87071.msg2229653.html#msg2229653
OK, so the camo badge appears to be a relic from when such scales were much less common than they are now. I consider this mystery solved to my satisfaction. Same here, except for the old man bit (which is relative anyway!). SAKs are just one of my interests. I don't feel any less involved with the forum by not collecting badges or taking part in challenges. I'd never have time for the latter anyway!
in the 80s they were a special edition of sorts
‘90s, I think. Unless somebody knows otherwise.
You're probably right. I was just going based on my own rusty memory
Oh, to have a rostfrei memory.....
