Ending a subscription

Hi! I've had a wonderful time with my Auctioneer's subscription, but it's time to put it to bed, at least for a while.

However, I accidentally "made it an ongoing subscription" and now I can't see how to shut it off.

It's probably right there in front of my face. So how do I cancel or end my recurring subscription?

*Note--I'll be happy to finish out the most recent week I paid for.

I'm pretty certain it is something you need to do on your end- go into your profile, paid subscription and edit it that way.

I'll see if Micah can help, but I am not seeing anything to change it on my end.  I'm pretty sure we set it up so you would have to choose it, rather than us automatically taking people's money.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that it was a little check box, but I think it was automatically checked and I didn't realize it until I clicked the button to buy. 'Cause I think I saw it the first time I did the subscription, and unchecked it, but the second time, I don't think I remembered to uncheck the box.

I saw the box again when I was trying to figure out how to cancel it, and opened up the dialogue for purchasing it. It was already checked when I opened that page.

Ok, I got it canceled through Paypal--had no idea it was accessible through there.

Just FYI, I have refunded your last payment as I know you didn't intend to make it.  If any more come through I will continue to refund them until I hear different.

Thanks, Grant! I received the refund, and I think the problem has been solved now.

My R&D subscription somewhat surprisingly grabbed some USD 75 a while back. I'm ok with that as that is basically just supporting the site anyway. However while it took the money the actual subscription is listed as "finished" - and seemed to be removed from my profile? If it takes the money I assume the intent is that it should extend the subscription as well?

Just let Def know via PM please. Taking money ain't how we roll here. And ironing out the bugs also supports the site.

No bad intent assumed or expected, or I would have been writing long ago. But as someone else seem to have a somewhat related issue I thought I'd mention it. It might be time to look at the subscription part of the site.

Sorry about that. My mess up  - it was a deduct from a company with a similar name.
