Day 26

The T2 with another SAK-alike I finished constructing this morning:

(Image removed from quote.)
Look great!

That is a very cool modThere are so many generous people on here.
There is another box just waiting for someone to want it.Straws are good.  I remember seeing elbow macaroni ones.Day 26, no use. Pic of all the tools at the back. I wish my real SAKs have the nail cleaner
(Image removed from quote.)

That's a great idea using pasta to do the frame!

Day 26
I had a pork shoulder on the smoker for 9 hours today and it came out close to perfect.  I must confess that I did not actually slice the pork with the Hoffritz Gentleman's Knife but I thought it looked pretty good posing there.
There is smoked pork, and then there is smoked pork...this is the latter one!

Day 26

I watched TV in my PJs all day  :o so I didn't technically carry my SAK-alike today.  Here's a shot of my Armbar next to my Curl that's sitting on my toolbox in my garage.  It won't tempt me over there...  hey buddy, we miss you. 🥰

(Image removed from quote.)
Sounds like pretty relaxed!  Long time ago I discovered the best way to wind down after college examination...most students would just hurry home right after, but the best way to feel completely relaxed is to watch all these folks frantically cramming for their finals, while you roamed around with nothing to do, watching tv and drinking your fav beverages all day long.

Day 26
No real use for the Mini TT, so glamour
(Image removed from quote.)
Yum that looks tasty
No kidding, it sure does!

Day 27

Picked up some of Loki’s spanners for my LM’s
(Image removed from quote.)

Those wrenches are so handy, no more marring the pivots with these. :tu:

Fixir opened a new package from CPK, if anyone is looking for an indestructible fixed blade, I highly recommend their offerings.  Especially the new basic line, the pricing is comparable to BRK.  (I purchased this myself, and have no affiliation with either makers)

Day 26:
(...)

At least I don't have to get it inspected until the end of the month.

I used the ASP's Phillips to set the clock. Compared to modern vehicles, I don't have to do much to set it. Just push one button for an hour, one button for a minute. No dealing with 2-3 menus.

One hour?! You're a very patient man. I'd just leave it as it is...

I agree!  Sometimes it's important to just relax and "sharpen the saw".

I hadn't heard of them before but I just checked out their website. Nice looking knives. Expensive.  I'll keep them in mind if I ever need a knife to baton through concrete blocks. :ahhh

Stupid autocorrect.

But, most newer cars it seems like an hour when you've got to go to the main menu, then display settings, and then finally the clock. The two biggest pains in the arse that I've dealt with are the newer Fords with the big display. The 2015 my folks had, as well as the 2021 Escape they traded for are especially bad.

I've decided this truck is too big for a daily driver, and am looking for an older Tacoma, Frontier, or XJ Cherokee. Rangers, S-10s, and Blazers never show up that often; but I like also.  I'd like a Foxbody Mustang, but the road conditions where I live are so bad (not state maintained for a quarter-mile), it would wreck the suspension. When I was 14-15 years old, you could get a 1980s Bronco here for around $3500. That doesn't even come close today.

Nice snack, probably better health-wise than my ice cream.

It seems like Wasabi peas must be one of your favorite snacks.  I’d be in much better health if I liked better snacks, instead of ice cream

Ice cream and potato chips are my weakness (but not together )

Day 27: opened some (junk) mail with the Fixir's gutting blade (the four-layer model I have isn't as well made as the three-layer/three-blade model; and the main blade isn't sharpened very well).

Wasn’t able to get an action shot, but had replace a snap on a helmet.  RRR screwdriver was too large for the Philips head screw, so Vic Classic SD to the rescue!

Day 28

I probably wasn't using the best glue(elm's glue) there is when I first made the straw picture frame for the little guy's homework, so it was completely fallen apart after just a day in school.  This time I get to redo it again, and I will be using the Devcon 2 ton epoxy with double layered reinforced straws.  Hopefully, it will hold up alright.

Anyhow, I got to really use Mikov Stovka's scissors for this task, and after literally hundred of cuts, I am confident to say it is a pretty darn good scissors. :D
