That's a good call!  I tried rearrange all those badges in numerous ways and see whether I could make the 15 more visible, but nothing really works all that well.  But I did come back to that design, and give it a gradient outline, so the "15" will pop more:

You could make the 1 without serif, like the original design. Maybe it's clearer.

Use the top left first five badges (full red) instead of the ones in the tips/corners of the 5. Those still have lots of white, the change will make all of the 5 a continuous red line.

The same for the top of the 1.

Interesting, seems like we do have a healthy interest in the OG design for Magnet #1, so to clarify, here are the designs for #1 and current vote standing.  The actual magnet should have a height of 90mm, so these pictures should be roughly the exact size (subject to your screen or zoom setting)

I've already voted for B. The "15" looks fine. It looks very crude in C, and in D the two numbers are not the same color. B looks better than both other options imo. Maybe combine all three into one picture, with the number in a soft red? :think:
