Leatherman Bond Owners Club
on: May 12, 2021, 01:10:55 AM
Well since a few have these or have these ordered and many will have them in the next week or so, I thought it best to have an Owners Club for these :woohoo:

LM even calls this tool the PST predecessor :like:

Both the below pics are both from LMs Instagram page

I too would like to know the reason for this, it seams just like extra machining time for a weaker product. Maxlvledc, do you see any reason for it in messing around with your tool?

for the life of me, I cant figure it out. Must be a part of the machining process to keep the frame from torquing during bending?

Who knows, if it was a requirement of the machining process I find it odd that it is only on one of the handles

I think it provides a stop for the blade from over-rotating and resting against the inside of the handle. On the Rebar, the lock plate lever provides this function. Of course, I can't actually see this because I don't have one yet! Care to check?
