This looks like a perfect tool to pair with a Victorinox Compact...

Indubitably.  There is very little redundancy with this combo.

I have mine on order, and I can't wait to get this one in. It brings me back to the classic Leatherman that I like so much. However, I am a bit sad at the same time. I was in such a rush to buy it that I didn't notice that there is a spot for the optional pocket clip. Ah well. I guess I will have to order another one when I got a few more Signals down the road.
A little Leatherman information.

this review was excellent, I was surprised his tools were so loose. But the review was definitely better than mine! Always nice to see someone like this doing a tool justice.

From what I understand the Rebar pliers fit in the Bond.

I'm just going to torture myself for a while until I bite the bullet and buy one.  Also, having moaned about the price to my wife I'll need to give it some time so as to make it plausible that I got it discounted.   (or, you know, actually get it discounted ;) )

I was surprised his tools were so loose.

Mine are like his.  Somewhat loose for the first bit of movement, then becoming very stiff and locky.

Mines arrived  it's alright. I like it. The slim lines are great.

There are two types of people in this world...... Super tool/rebar users and wave/charge users. I guess I fall into the second category!  ;)

The Bond is nice though and will definitely see some good carry time. The weight is excellent. I've got a spare Free pocket clip I'll add it and see if I can get a few photos on. 😁

The Bond looks like a very promising offering!

I wonder if somebody could compare the thickness to a PST, a Fuse or a Pulse? Also, how is the handle splay on the Bond?

Looks nice.  LM say it is UK EDC legal because it has non-locking tools.  But if you open the blade and close handles  can you close the blade in one motion?  So is it still legal?  There are many time I have my Wave with me and think, I'd better empty my pockets before going out.  Is this an alternative (if I add a LM slim bit holder)?

Received mine today.......,modified within the first 10mins🙄.
So far I’m impressed.
Nice size and weight (between a Rebar and Pulse in size).
Suits my needs as a work EDC.
Don’t need scissors, as I have a style CS on my keys and I also carry a Raptor now and then.
I also have no need for an awl.
Pocket clip fitted(from old P2).
Awl and 3D Phillips removed.
Bit driver and micro screwdriver exchanger fitted. Plus fitted locking washers/shims between every tool.

Topped it off with my old PST leather sheath(which fits perfectly with the clip fitted as well).
