British Army Knife
on: April 17, 2021, 07:12:41 AM
For some reason I feel the 'need' for a British Army Knife, the one with a marlinspike, IF it wasn't too expensive, which they are here.  :bnghd:
Preferably one that's older than me....

There is a black check 1943 on TM atm...

Probably a bit more comfy to use than the all stainless.

I got confused with the long weekend and thought the auction closed tomorrow but it was tonight and I missed it.
It went for much less than I would have paid up to.

Remembered it was today then got distracted playing games with the kids and missed it.

If I see any more I'll holler.

Would a Belgian army knife do it for you too?
Exact same build, different stamps...

:like: I had this knife pattern as my first “real” pocket knife as a kid, a trusty friend. Hoping it’s still in my folks attic somewhere as it’s been a long while since I saw it

Yup!
Mine's from 51 too, but made by Colasse.
€5 flea market find that turned out great after some elbow grease.
