RIP Howard Hessman

Howard Hessman has passed away at 81.

You may remember him as Captain Lessard in Police Academy, but more likely you know him better as Johnny Duke, Johnny Funk, Johnny Caravella or The Doctor Johnny Fever on the mighty WKRP in Cincinnati.

He was an icon in my younger days and my absolute favorite character on WKRP (okay, maybe tied with Bailey Quarters, aka Jan Smithers, but that's for a totally different reason), which is impressive considering the massive talent in that show.

RIP Howard, say hi to Mother Carleson, Arthur and Herb for us.
