Blast is a solid reliable inexpensive tool that works well and has a ton of good features on it.

Not at all! The Blast is a great tool for the money; but you can easily over torque it using the drivers and such! The SURGE, well you know the rest!

I feel like the Blast is a great EDC/medium duty tool, while the CORE/SURGE are more designed to be work/professional tools. I love my Blast tho, certainly an underrated multi.

Wenger Swissgrip should come pretty close in terms of saw size!

Not got one but it's based on the 120mm frame so around that long!

Man, all this talk about the Blast is making me want to get mine fixed.  The lock broke on it a while back and I gave up on it in disgust.  However, I have been thinking about getting it fixed since I DO like the long drivers on it better then the stubby interchangeable drivers on the Wave, and I like the fact that it doesn't pinch your skin like the Wave does.  It's also lighter, which is cool with me.  I always liked the Blast, which although it isn't perfect, did what I needed it to.... until the friggin lock broke.
Maybe I'll get it fixed.
Maybe.

I'm surprised (and glad) that the Blast is doing well here.  It never seems to get a mention otherwise.  People always seem to talk about Skeletools, waves, SURGE, Juice, Mica....Or am I just being slow?

Nope, you're not being slow, it really doesn't get mentioned that much. In fact, the only time it seems to crop up is on "underrated" threads!

It's a really great tool, does pretty much exactly what the Wave does, but I think maybe it isn't very glamorous or something having no OH blades or clever bits.

I was trying to trade one on here a while back and noone wanted it, for months, quite bizarre. Then Dunc went Leatherman mad and it's his now :D

And the Fuse? Well that gets less coverage than the Blast !

Hey LatinoHeat? Get it fixed man, it's no good to you broke  :twak:
I used to come here a lot.

Surprisingly the Kick gets a bit of love.

I have the knifeless Fuse, wish Leatherman would make a knifeless Juice.

'Cos it's cheap!

I love the Fuse, and have 4 different variations of it now, it's a great little tool.

My current favorite is the Charge TI. The KF4 is a close second. The Freestyle may upset that when it comes out though.

I love the Crunch and the Blast for that matter they are both great tools and until I went to a full sized MT for work I carried the Blast all the time :tu:
I most certainly would be carrying otherwise though  I thought I use to talk about it quite a bit myself but that was mostly back in the summer :D

I love the Crunch it's just not full featured enough to carry by itself but that's just my opinion ;) Otherwise I would carry it alot more

In fact I may just try to carry it for a while with a small SAK or a Squirt for a little while :tu: and see what happens
